Anyone else hoping fishing and boating are more than throwaway minigames?

With a coastal setting I'd love to spend an evening fishing off a dock, taking a little boat out or finding strange stuff underwater.

Maybe I'm getting old but sometimes the best part of these games is doing absolutely nothing important.

Same here. RDR2 was at its best for me when I wandered around with no mission selected.

Give me different boat types and actual water physics. I can lose an afternoon just exploring coves.

I hope optional activities feel rewarding without turning into compulsory survival systems.
