Are the characters too normal-looking for a GTA game?

[TheRealWaldo]

Some people are calling Jason generic and Lucia too serious. I actually like that they resemble regular people who might live in the world instead of walking movie posters.

We have an entire state of weirdos for comic relief. Do the main characters really need to be larger than life too?

Ordinary-looking people can be a good anchor for a chaotic setting. Characterization is in choices and relationships, not just haircuts.
