Beautiful graphics don't automatically mean better gameplay

I'm impressed by GTA 6 visually, but I keep seeing people act like that settles every other question. A city can look incredible while missions still involve following a yellow line and shooting waves of enemies.

I'm not saying it'll be bad. I just need something more concrete before calling it the best game ever made. Fair take or am I being cynical?

Completely fair. Visual fidelity, interaction depth, systemic behavior, and mission design are different dimensions of quality.
