No first-person mode at launch? I would actually miss it

A preview attendee reportedly said first-person wasn't part of the version they saw. That isn't the same thing as a final feature list, but it would disappoint me if the finished game ships without it.

I mostly play third person, yet first person was fantastic for just wandering around and looking at details in GTA V and RDR2. Does anyone else use it that way?

I never use it for driving or fighting, but for exploring the house interiors? Absolutely.

First-person requires a lot of extra animation and camera work. I can see why it might not be an early priority.
