Those police cars flipping over looked amazing... but scripted?

The tire-shooting sequence was my favorite part of the extended look. Cars seemed heavy and the crashes were spectacular. But I'm wondering if those particular flips were specially choreographed for the mission.

I don't mind scripted set pieces. I just want regular traffic collisions to use convincing physics too.
