Why does every GTA 6 discussion demand a totally new genre?

I keep reading comments disappointed that GTA 6 appears to involve driving, shooting, and criminal missions. My friends, the game is literally called Grand Theft Auto.

I'm all for innovation but at what point do we just want a really polished sequel?

The reasonable criticism isn't that it's still GTA. It's that some older mission structures may not have evolved alongside the technical presentation.

Exactly. I don't want to manage hunger meters and tax returns. Just give me good missions and a fun city.
