Will a normal mid-range PC be enough for GTA 6?

Everybody is talking about 4K ultra settings, but the more useful question is what a mainstream PC can do at 1080p or 1440p.

No official PC requirements means this is pure speculation, obviously. What would you consider a reasonable target: stable 60 fps on mid settings, or are people expecting too much?

1080p/60 on reasonable hardware is my hope. I'd rather have consistent frame times than a flashy benchmark number.

If I can turn a few settings down and the city still feels alive, I'm happy. I'm not buying a new graphics card to inspect individual palm leaves.

NPC density, traffic simulation and CPU load worry me more than textures. Big cities can be difficult to scale.

Exactly. Graphics presets don't always solve CPU bottlenecks. Hope they offer density sliders and a real benchmark.
